I received a MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in sexual trauma. I have 20 years of combined personal and professional experience in the field of trauma and I am the author of a self-published book titled, “Metaphors for Healing Rebuilding and Transforming into a Beautiful Warrior.”
I was only a child when I came to experience the horrors of childhood sexual abuse and emotional abuse. It was a pit that caged me for years.
Shackled in low self-esteem, fear, shame, mistrust, broken family relationships, depression, and worthlessness, my circumstance forecasted a life of brokenness in every way possible, but God had a different plan for my life.
I wrote over the experiences that were supposed to kill me. I was able to reverse the cycle of abuse and work for every agency I went through as a child. The State Attorney’s office in which I walked though as a child victim holding my advocate’s hand was the same office I was able to advocate audaciously for children, help them tell their truth and restore their hope. I also claimed expert status within the court system as I helped countless children and women shared their truths fearlessly before their abusers and turn their circumstance from overcome to overcomers.
As you can tell, for me the thing holding me back was the abuse I experienced (followed by my external family’s desire to cover up the abuse). Until I experienced a series of breakthroughs, a lot of grace, and a whole lot of grit to completely turn my life from victim to victor, in need of an advocate to being an advocate, in need of a counselor to being a counselor, from fear to freedom, from confused about me past experiences to clarity in who I am spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.

I am not a victim of sexual abuse, can you still help me?
Absolutely! Trauma is trauma; I am an expert at helping process trauma and that includes an array of trauma stemming from abandonment, physical abuse, domestic violence, emotional abuse, mental abuse, neglect, childhood trauma/traumatic experience and adulthood relational abuse/trauma.
